White Grove House is a testament to owner & creative director Chris Curro’s true passion for homewares, interiors design and of course her love affair with the colour white!
“My intention was to curate an inspiring space that allowed me the freedom to showcase my personal styling ideas/concepts and a platform to share my creative passion. It was never just about the sales, foremost it was about creating a fully immersive & sensory customer experience from the moment they step through the door. I wanted to evoke an overwhelming sense of inspiration in them so that leaving would be the hardest part.”
Completely self-taught Chris will be the first to tell you she’s no expert, just simply “born with it!” And whilst she might not be an expert, she’s an absolute natural with an impeccable eye and effortless flair that makes everything she touches simply beautiful.
"I was just an ordinary girl from the country who had an undeniable passion for interiors and styling. My first real experiment with the colour white was at the tender age of 12yrs when I convinced my brothers that we should spray paint mum’s beautiful cane furniture white! I would constantly surprise my mum with styling makeovers in our home – luckily for me she was always so supportive of antics.”
With her signature trademark of a love for white & natural interiors, Chris is also the owner of The White Bungalow & White Havana which have successfully stamped her brand with an amassed success since first launching into the Brisbane retail scene back in 2014.
Her stores have been showcased in various editorials and interior publications like Adore Magazine and her home was also featured in the Home Beautiful magazine with her master bedroom winning 6th place in the Home Beautiful’s “Top 50 rooms for 2018”.
Chris attributes her successes down to a testament of never straying from her own style and authenticity.
